End User License Agreement

License grant

Subject to your plan, payment status, and these terms, Chudware grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the desktop application for your own internal design, engineering, and manufacturing work. The license is not a sale of the software.

Devices and entitlement

Activation requires an account and stores a device entitlement. The application periodically checks entitlement status and may continue offline for the grace period shown by the application. You may revoke active devices through your account. You may not bypass activation, alter entitlement data, or share one account to avoid purchasing required access.

Restrictions

You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, sell, or host the application for third parties; remove proprietary notices; defeat security or usage controls; or reverse engineer the application except to the limited extent a law expressly permits despite this restriction. You may make reasonable backup copies of the installer and your own project data.

Your files and exports

You own the designs and files you create. Native `.step+` files preserve Chudware feature history; neutral exports may omit editable information. You are responsible for backups, compatibility checks, and verifying exported geometry and manufacturing output.

Updates and third-party components

Updates may add, change, or remove functionality and may be required for security or service compatibility. The application includes third-party components governed by their accompanying notices and licenses. Those notices do not expand the license to Chudware's proprietary code.

Safety and warranty

The software is an engineering aid, not a substitute for qualified review, physical validation, or machine safety procedures. To the extent permitted by law, it is provided “as is” without implied warranties. The liability limits in the Terms of Service apply to this EULA.

Termination

This license ends when your entitlement expires or these terms are materially breached. On termination, stop using and remove the application. Your ownership of project files is unaffected.
